Production Maintenance Supervisor – Food Manufacturing
Labor Finders is seeking an experienced Production Maintenance Supervisor for one of our valued clients in the food manufacturing industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to lead maintenance operations and ensure production equipment runs safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Supervise, train, and lead the maintenance team to ensure timely preventive and corrective maintenance on all production equipment.
Develop and oversee maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment issues, providing guidance to maintenance staff as needed.
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations during all maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and team productivity.
Collaborate with production, quality control, and management teams to optimize equipment performance and workflow.
Promote a safe, organized, and productive maintenance work environment.
Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in maintenance within food manufacturing or a related industrial setting.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting expertise.
Knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, GMPs, SQF) and safe maintenance practices.
Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed to support production schedules.
